How to use the electric hoist safely？

Hoist cranes operating in special environments such as dusty, wet, hot or cold environments require customary safety and maintenance practices, as well as safety precautions for use in special environments.

1. Electric hoist in a dusty environment in the use of hoist cranes operating in a dusty environment should think about the following safety maintenance methods：

1). Enclosed driver's cab should be selected for operation to maintain the personal safety of the driver;

2). Crane on the motor and the primary electrical protection level should be in the same level, in general, hoisting cranes with electric motors and electrical protection, such as IP44, according to the degree of dust coarseness, should be enhanced accordingly to sealing function, that is, the protection (the primary dustproof ability) level into the corresponding progress for IP54 or lP64.

2. Electric hoist used in high temperature environment:

1). Driver's room should be enclosed and equipped with an electric fan or equipment air conditioning；

2). Motor windings and chassis should be buried in the thermistor and other temperature control equipment, when the temperature exceeds a certain limit, power failure and shutdown to maintain or in the motor to add a strong cold approach (generally in the motor to add a special fan).

3. Electric hoist used in cold environments:

On the use of outdoor cold season hoist type crane should be the following safety protection measures.

1). Closed driver's compartment is selected, and heating equipment should be provided in the driver's compartment;

2). Shovel snow and ice from tracks, ladders and walkways in a timely manner to prevent slips and falls;

3). Crane primary force bars or components should be selected from low alloy steel or not less than Q235-C general carbon steel (refers to below -20 ℃) raw materials.
